Even though josh Lucas in nearly reaching his 40s he is still in great shape not only personally but also his acting career. We have seen him in many films like Alive when he was much younger back in the early 1990s. Alive was a strange film to start a career in, one that could have taken his career in any direction. After Alive, we see Josh playing the role of one of the American Psycho friends who was hanging out in the clubs and restaurants with Allen, the lead actor which was one of the best movies from the 1990s. American Psycho was another film that could have easily been a flop after the original American Psycho of the 1960s however with the all star cast the directors once again managed to pull off a great re-make.
In the last decade after the start of the new millennium Josh has been in more than a dozen movies which were first rate and a few that are still worth the mention. In a beautiful mind he plays alongside Russell Crow as one of the students and later the adult friend of the main character. He plays a strong role which is natural for his acting ability however he never steals the scenes from the other actors. In 2002 we see Josh Lucas in the Hulk as the Major in charge of the army trying to capture and kill the Hulk. This movie is a wild ride and not a bad rip off of the original series from the 1970s. Once again in the movies the Hulk, Josh plays a strong support role vital to the story.
More recently in 2006 Josh was offered a major part in one of the next movies to be copied from the past. The Poseidon was originally a movie made in the early 1960 when films were just starting to get with moving scenes rather than moving objects through a scene. The 2006 version was perfect when it came to special effects, drama, action and excitement as Josh, (Dylan Johns) movies his team of survivors in an upside down cruise liner to safety through the very belly of the giant ship. Josh is one great actor that is proving to be a leading star which will no doubt continue to receive great acting roles which are due to his great acting skills.
